Zalando's catalogue ingestion accepts JPG/JPEG only. Each image must be 20 MB or smaller. PNG, WebP, AVIF, and TIFF are rejected at upload.

What we check

CatalogPrep verifies the mime type is image/jpeg and the file size is at or below the 20 MB threshold before the Zalando export pack is written.

How to fix

Re-export as JPG at 90-95 quality. Zalando's fashion preset in CatalogPrep targets JPG by default and applies adaptive compression to stay under the cap.
