eBay rule
eBay: no marketing watermarks, text, or URLs on photos
eBay prohibits marketing watermarks plus added text, logos, and URLs. A small ownership/attribution watermark is allowed only if it covers no more than 5% of the image, sits at 50% opacity or less, contains no links, and never obscures the item.

What we check
CatalogPrep runs a text/logo detector across the canvas and flags marketing watermarks, repeating logos, seller URLs, and overlays that exceed eBay's 5% area / 50% opacity attribution allowance.
How to fix
Use CatalogPrep's AI cleanup edit (25 credits/edit) to remove marketing watermarks and URLs, or upload a clean version. A small attribution mark within eBay's size and opacity limits can stay.
