Why your Cdiscount image was suppressed - and how to fix it

Cdiscount: product must fill the frame and face forward

Cdiscount asks the product to fill the entire image facing forward without pixelation. Wide margins, off-axis angles, and tightly cropped detail shots are rejected on the main image slot.

What we check: CatalogPrep estimates the subject bounding box and orientation, flagging assets where the product covers less than the marketplace's fill threshold or where the primary face is not toward the camera.

How to fix: Use CatalogPrep's auto-crop with the Cdiscount preset and recompose if needed. Manual review is queued when the product is asymmetric and the natural facing direction is ambiguous.

Cdiscount: 500×500 minimum, 3000×3000 maximum, 5 MB cap

Cdiscount's product-sheet creation guide accepts images from 500 by 500 pixels up to 3000 by 3000, with each file capped at 5 MB. Assets outside that envelope fail product-sheet ingestion.

What we check: CatalogPrep reads the file dimensions and size and verifies both fall within the Cdiscount product-sheet bounds before the export pack is written.

How to fix: Re-export from your design source. CatalogPrep's Cdiscount preset targets 1000 by 1000 - well inside the bounds and comfortably under the 5 MB ceiling.

Cdiscount: no text, logos, watermarks, illustrations, or outbound links

Cdiscount prohibits offer data, text overlays, illustrations, embedded images, logos, drawings, watermarks, and outbound links on the product image. The asset must be the product on a neutral background only.

What we check: CatalogPrep runs a text/logo detector and an edge-band uniformity check, flagging any decorative overlay, illustration, or rendered URL before export.

How to fix: Use CatalogPrep's AI cleanup edit to remove overlays, or replace with a clean source photo. Manual review is required when the overlay is printed on the actual product packaging.
